Is this a charity Tournament?

Yes! This year, the Ottawa Turkey Bowl is thrilled to announce our partnership with the North Gloucester Giants to support local youth in their football journey! All proceeds raised through this year's tournament will go directly to the North Gloucester Giants, helping children ages 7-18 with essential needs like registration fees, equipment, and team events for the upcoming season.

How do I register my team?

How many teams are playing?

We have room for 18 teams. The schedule will be created on Wednesday, November 27th.

Can non-playing friends attend as spectators?

Absolutely! Spectators are welcome. Stands are set up for watching the games, and there's a designated area for drinks.

What time does the event start?
-
Participants should be at Lansdowne by 9:00 am sharp. First game is 9:30am

How do we access the field?
-
Morning Registration will be held at The "Players Lounge" located on the edge of the Great Lawn where Escapade takes place. Please show up early to allow yourself time review the schedule and ensure you're ready for your first game.

The first games kick off at 9:30 am.

How long are the games?
-
Each game consists of two halves, each lasting 12 minutes, with a 1-minute halftime break. There's an 2.5 minute break between games, allowing for two games per field per hour.

Is there a schedule for the event?

The schedule will be posted on the website as early as possible. Please be aware that last-minute changes may occur, so arrive at 9:30 am regardless.

Do teams need to have a mix of genders on the field at all times?

Yes, teams must be co-ed, with at least one member of each gender on the field continuously.

Is there a designated area for bags and a change of clothes?

Inside the player's lounge, there's an area for bags and personal belongings. We will also have access to the away game locker room to change and store belongings. Please note that this area is unsupervised, so avoid bringing valuables or do so at your own risk.

Will there be food and drinks for sale?

Yes, in the player lounge we will have an assortment of food and beverage available for sale including beer wine and spirits.

No outside food and beverages are permitted.
