Format &

Player Registration

  • All players’ team lists must be submitted into the online system by Monday November 25th, 2024 latest.

  • All players must sign a participant waiver prior to taking the filed

  • Teams have to be co-ed, and there should be a minimum of one of each gender on the field at all times.

Rules and Regulations

  1. Team Composition:

    1. Teams should consist of 6 players on the field at a time, with up to 4 substitutes allowed.

    2. Teams have to be co-ed, and there should be a minimum of one of each gender on the field at all times.

  2. Field Dimensions:

    1. The field will be rectangular, with dimensions of 55 yards in length and 20 yards in width.

    2. End zones will be 5-10 yards deep.

  3. Game Duration:

    1. The game is played in two halves, with each half lasting 15 minutes.

    2. 2-minute halftime break.

    3. 8-minute in between games.

  4. Scoring:

    1. A touchdown is worth 7 points.

  5. Starting Play:

    1. The game begins with a throw.

    2. The throw is from their own 5-yard line.

  6. Downs:

    1. Teams have 4 downs to advance the ball to half and another 4 to score a TD

  7. Ball Carrier:

    1. A ball carrier is "down" when a defender tags the ball carrier with one hand.

  8. Passing/Punting

    1. Forward passes are allowed.

    2. Laterals (sideways or backward passes) are also allowed.

    3. Teams can punt anytime.

  9. Blocking:

    1. No blocking or physical contact between players is allowed.

  10. Running:

    1. The ball carrier cannot dive or leap to avoid a tag.

    2. Quarterbacks are considered "down" when a defender makes contact with them.

  11. Rushing the Quarterback:

    1. A rusher is allowed to attempt to down the quarterback's after a designated count (e.g., 5 "Mississippi").

  12. Substitutions:

    1. Substitutions can be made during stoppages in play.

  13. Penalties:

    1. Penalties are to be called when both teams agree - be sportsmanlike PLEASE

  14. Overtime:

    1. In the event of a tie, there is no overtime periods with the exception of the final semi final

  15. Sportsmanship:

    1. Encourage fair play and good sportsmanship among all participants.

  16. Tournament Format:

    1. round-robin. In the event of a tie, points for will be calculated to determine seeding.

  17. Officials:

    1. All games are self-refereed and each team is to work together to officiate the games and enforce the rules.
